UK Football Schools Blogger Jim Price

Jim is massive football and sports fan, he lives happily with his wife and 2 children near Cambridge. Having experienced first hand some distinctly unethical practise in football, he is very passionate about providing young players with opportunities and correct, honest, advice and insights.

Jim has worked in the football industry for 12 years and is an FA Intermediary (agent) where he arranged an extraordinary total of 23 trials for 16 unsigned players during a single Summer transfer window in 2016. He was also interviewed as an industry expert in the UK National newspaper The Daily Telegraph, in their feature article “The Rise of the Rogue Agent” as well as helping Red Bull TV recruit players for their series “The Streets Don’t Lie”. He finished his agent work to concentrate on helping to set up the UK Football Trials “5 day Camps” before recently renewing his Intermediary license to represent and advise a player from America – a former Youtube sensation who is now doing well in the UK Academy system. Having spoken to thousands of players as well as countless Scouts, Coaches, Managers, and senior figures within clubs and the FA, he is well qualified to advise players and parents on all things football! As a former pupil of a private school (where football was a minor sport), Jim is well aware of the importance (for players who are choosing the private school route) of finding the right football boarding school in a players football development!

Previously Jim worked as Director of Marketing for Lucozade Powerleague where he became a facebook and social media expert – his team were twice finalists for BT Sports Industry Awards and Winners of the Digital Entrepreneur of the Year Award for "Best Large Social Media Campaign".
