This past week the first stages of the Corona Virus lockdown restrictions were eased, and we saw both state and boarding schools in England open officially for the first time in 2021, boarders have remained here since January, but day students returned to campus and face to face tuition resumed.
Many of the football schools in the UK which we recommend have been busy during lockdown, players have been keeping in shape and have continued with their training in their boarding bubble as they prepare for the return of fixtures from the 29th of March when the next set of restrictions are eased. There is now a tremendous buzz as a sense of normality is starting to return and many of the players who are studying at the best football schools in England are going to be able to showcase their talent to clubs across the UK.
Here at UK Football Schools, we are currently recommending a selection of football schools in the UK which firstly offer an excellent academic development, it is important players can obtain a very good education and gain qualifications to go onto the best universities/full time work in the future and secondly offer a platform for their football that mirrors the environment of a professional club. The UK boarding football schools have former professional players, professional managers and UEFA license coaches running the programmes, their experience of knowing what it takes for a young player breaking into the professional game is key. Most importantly though is having the exposure and visibility for players to play against professional clubs, play in front of scouts and coaches regularly otherwise no matter how much you are developing, if you are not being seen then you are not going to get noticed and this is what makes these some of the best football schools in the world as they are combining both an excellent development programme with an excellent games programme. As an example, one of our football boarding schools last year had twelve players sign professional contracts last season and this included clubs in both La Liga and Bundesliga.
Last year we had quite a few families and players defer their places at these private football schools in England due to the Covid pandemic but are now raring to go this September for the 2021/22 academic year as the situation is clearing up, this has meant that places are already extremely limited however there is still time and if you are interested the UK Football Schools team would be delighted to run through the schools which we believe to be the best football schools in the UK with you.
