Over the past couple of weeks, we have had some fantastic news come out of several of the boarding football schools in the UK which our UK Football Schools team recommend with our players receiving pro club trial games, pro club extended trials and a senior men’s national team call up for the upcoming FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The boarding schools in England which run full time football academies have been keeping busy during the lockdown but the restrictions haven’t kept players away from having showcasing opportunities. Elite football has been able to continue as normal since last summer and as we are now hitting the business end of the season both with football and with the academic year some of our UK Football Schools Year 12 and Year 13 students have had the opportunity to impress both in professional clubs as well as on the international stage.
One of the elite private football schools in the UK which we believe to be one of the best boarding schools for students aged 14 to 18 has had 25% of their football programme players play trial games for the local professional EFL club, two more of our players were recently called up to play against a League Two academy and it’s great to see so many players having the opportunity to play in front of pro club scouts and coaches, those experiences of also playing with academy players are great opportunities to learn and put into practice pro academy players are taught.
In the Midlands where another one of our top private schools for football is located, they have an excellent record each year of players being picked up for pro-trials across Europe, players going onto sign with professional clubs and players being called up to their national teams – the UK football boarding school had a few players called up to the recent U20 African Cup of Nations which was fantastic to see too. One of our players who joined this soccer school in England last summer had been to our UK Football Trials and decided he wanted to be here in the UK full time, since joining his progression has gone from strength to strength and he has been picked up for an extended trial with a well known EFL club, our UK Football Schools team wish him all the best over the next few weeks.
Our final piece of news has also come out of one of the UK’s best soccer schools in the Midlands where another one of our UK Football Schools players who started in September 2020 has been called up to the men’s national team to play in the upcoming FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifiers to try and book a place in Qatar next year. Jackson has done extremely well since moving to his new football boarding school here in the UK and his hard work has paid off receiving the national team call up, we wish him all the best with these fixtures later this month and on the road to Qatar next year.
Time is flying and there is now less than six months until all of the best soccer boarding schools in the UK return for the new academic year this September, if you are interested in securing a place or know someone who is looking you can register on our homepage where a member of our team will be in touch or if you would like some more information on our football boarding schools in England you can also email us direct on info@ukfootballschool.com
