Fantastic Jack!
Jack attended one of our five day residential camps in London back in August, 2018, where on the final day he performed very well. It was clear that he was desperate to progress and his work rate, attitude and behaviour stood out.
Unfortunately, the scouts in attendance that day, deemed him not ‘quite at the level’ for a professional football trial. Because of this, and Jack’s attitude, we decided to speak to his parents to see if we could help his football. We discussed the possibility of attending a UK football school, that would give Jack the opportunities to not only be seen, but to develop his football. His parents were insistent that if Jack was to go to a football school in England, that he would have to have the opportunity to study A Levels, which are the globally recognised qualifications British children aim to achieve before going to University.
Since then, Jack has played over twenty different pro clubs and develop his football fantastically. His team made the national finals, had many ‘away days’ against other top UK football schools for football and he has experienced fantastic opportunities he never would have had the chance to experience. All this said, it’s not the football we want to congratulate Jack on, despite his achievements. Whilst training and playing football daily, he worked exceptionally hard within his studies, and managed to finish with three (the standard amount) A Levels, of A*, A and B.
With the footballing ability Jack now has, and with exceptional A Level results, Jack had a number of options to consider but has decided to go and play football and study at one of England’s top Universities, Nottingham Trent University, to study Sport and Exercise Science.
