Kanayo’s Success Since Joining A Top Private School For Football

Kanayo's Father came to UK Football Schools looking to find a boarding school with a football academy where he could continue with his education to a high level, but also develop his football on an elite football program. Kanayo was already studying in a football boarding school in England, which appears highly on search engines. However, he felt like he wasn't getting the opportunities to progress. Kanayo knew if he were to make it to the level necessary, he would need to be working with elite coaches and showcasing his talent to professional clubs on a regular basis. Through our recommendations and help here at UK Football Schools, we managed to help him find one of the best football schools in England. He successfully applied, and managed to secure a place a one of the top independent schools in England for football to start in September 2019.

Since Kanayo joined one of the top independent schools in England for football his development both on and off the pitch has been excellent. Kanayo has had the opportunity to work with great teachers who are helping him prepare for his GCSE’s. The class sizes in his Year 11 group are smaller than average so his learning benefits. He is now planning and preparing for his A Levels later this year. As for Kanayo’s football development, his schools' boarding football academy trains up to six days a week. Kanayo is part of the U16 elite side which is coached by a UEFA licensed coach and an ex-professional footballer who was head of Strength and Conditioning at a League Two club . He is also overseen by an ex-Premier League manager and player, which has provided Kanayo with some of the best tuition there is outside of a professional club academy. This season his U16 side have progressed through to one of the national cup finals and two national cup semi-finals; a superb achievement. This success has continued to make his school one of the best schools in England for football.

Arguably the biggest success Kanayo has had since joining one of the top private boarding schools in the UK are the professional club trials he has received. One of the biggest factors for Kanayo moving to an elite football boarding school was the lack of exposure he had at his previous school. His current English football academy boarding school played against over 40 professional clubs last year which included several fixtures against Premier League oppositions. Through these showcase fixtures, Kanayo has received multiple offers to trial at professional clubs which include the likes of; Sheffield United, West Bromich Albion and Shrewsbury Town.

It takes a lot of courage and sacrifice to move out of your comfort zone, especially when you are already in a boarding environment, but with hard work, desire and commitment, Kanayo has reached out and taken the opportunity given to him to really use the tools provided to him by the elite football boarding school and is reaping the success. A big well done from everyone here at UK Football Schools, keep up the good work!
