I am the father of Marcos Terán (18 years old) and would like to tell our experience with UK Football Schools and especially with Chris Woodburn. My son has been in different multi-weeks football programmes in Pachuca (México), Brandenton, Florida (USA), Barcelona (Spain) and most recentely in Manchester (UK), all of them great in his own words, some better than others in certain concepts of his development as a young football player. Football boarding schools in Europe are hard to find! There are lots of the best UK football schools on the internet.
However, something had always been missing and felt that we needed to look for professional advice. My son has been playing for several years in high demand programmes in México and abroad but he felt that he needed something else that could improve his level and development as well as his interaction with professional coaches and other high level players.
We contacted Chris and assisted us extremely well all the way to find the best choices for our son Marcos in the UK. He understood our special needs and background as well as our interests and then, he guided us to the best opportunities. Needless to say, our son has never been more happy, motivated, and improved his level. He now has more opportunities to continue his dream of becoming the best football player he can be and pursued also a university degree.
All this time and up to date, Chris has been interested in how Marcos has been progressing and offered him trials and some other programmes. Without UK Football Schools, we would never have found an outstanding football academy in the UK.
