"My son Jack, who is 16 years old, was looking to go to sixth form, following his good GCSE results. He is also mad about football and attended the five day football camp at UK Football Trials in August 2018.
When we came to watch the trial on the final day, we spoke to Chris and he spoke about the possibility of Jack attending a school that not only offers him the opportunity to study A Levels, so he can go to University, but the chance to play and train football full time in an academy. This is perfect for Jack. He then introduced us to Micky Adams (ex Leicester City manager) and Alan Smith (ex Manchester United and England player) who were watching Jack play.
After a while, we spoke to Chris again who informed me that the guys from the schools football academy were interested in Jack for there top teams (who are at a very high level). This gave us about a week to consider the move and we decided to go for it.
Jack is now extremely happy. He lives at the school where he plays football every day and is studying to go to University. He has the opportunities now that he could only dream of, playing in a very good side which plays lots of other professional football academy teams and has made a lot of new mates.
We just wanted to thank you at UK Football Schools for helping this happen and supporting us in helping Jack develop into his dream career."
