Our son Jack is 15 years old and we are currently living in Spain. He was recommended to go to UK football trials summer camp this summer 2019.
After attending the UK Football Trials 5 day camp for a week and thoroughly enjoying it, he was then advised by Chris to look into a leading UK private football school based in the midlands as the football academy there has a great reputation for pupils enjoying football at a high level, who would love to further a possible career in football. Due to the FA coaches and their knowledge of the game, it is clear this is possible.
We did some research about the college and Chris helped us greatly to arrange for Jack to attend the college very quickly and in time for the next term starting in 2 weeks! He made this possible for us and we feel he went out of his way to help us get all information needed for Jack to attend there so quickly.
The school has a great atmosphere and all the other pupils are friendly. Jack gets on well with all his peers and teachers too and hopes to do well in his exams. It’s new to Jack boarding away from home but has settled in like home already!
The football academy is amazing, very professional and the coaching is a high standard. Taking each players weaknesses as their best interest. Jack likes the match meeting app which tracks all his statistics and info needed to improve him as a player. Jack this season has progressed with his team through to the latter stages of the national cups and has also had the chance to play against numerous professional club academies to showcase his talent.
It is also fantastic for us as parents to see and to watch his matches online when we can’t attend them. They play regular matches (usually once or twice a week) and his coaches give feedback from each game. He feels the coaches treat the players professionally already! Especially on match days!
Jack loves that he trains daily after school and on Saturday mornings.
