I just wanted to say a big thank you to UK Football Schools and the team at UK Football Trials for helping me find a good football school for my son, Harold. 

Harold has spent many years at the school most renowned for sport in England, which was a beautiful school and the sporting facilities were second to none. This said, Harold wasn’t happy here and this began to show in his academics. He was becoming frustrated at the football opportunities the school provided and to tell you the truth I didn’t really know where to look. My knowledge of football boarding schools in Europe and the UK isn’t great!

Harold’s team, despite always progressing far in cup competitions, didn’t play against many proper academy teams which meant there was no exposure for him to become scouted. 

When he finished his GCSE’s, we attended a summer camp at UK Football Trials. We met Chris who spoke to us about soccer boarding schools in England and what they could offer. We went with Chris to see a school, which was much different to where he was (a very luxurious English school!) but Harold was adamant he just wanted the football that was on offer. After researching, we decided the school was the best boarding school for football in England. 

Since beginning in September, despite my scepticism of the school at first, it was a fantastic decision and my son is very happy. He is loving the football here, where he plays every day and has had trials since starting the school. 

I would certainly recommend UK Football Schools in finding a good football school or soccer academy in England to other players.
