"My son attended a UK Football Trials football camp in August which opened his and our eyes. He has never experienced the professionalism, level of coaching and learning that he did here and it helped us realise the difference between his current development in Canada, compared to what is available in the UK.
We spoke to Chris, from UK Football Schools at the trial, about how we are able to get this full time training for Razvan, so he has the best opportunities to become a professional footballer one day. We understand that this is a small chance, but by giving him these opportunities, at least he can look back in the future and thank us for giving him them.
At the same time, we wanted him to get a good education, qualifications that can help Razvan progress his career. We also needed to find out the actual rules with English clubs being able to sign overseas players, as I have heard lots of different stories. Chris was able to tell me all of this, something I couldn't find anywhere else on the internet after lots of researching.
Razvan is now settled in his football boarding school and the football academy is great. He is really loving it and loves living with like minded friends that he has made. Thankyou UK Football Schools and Chris for helping us with what we thought would be an impossible move!"
