In addition to his experience within the industry, he is a pleasant, friendly, and professional individual and dedicated to doing the very best for young players wishing to progress within the football focused English education system.

Chris has a wealth of footballing experience, spending his teenage years at professional football club academies, experiences the highs and lows of youth academy football. He was released from professional academies so finds it easy to relate to struggles young players experience – and how to come out the other side! He also has a wealth of experience in coaching youth teams at different levels, including at several professional clubs, counting Chicago Fire in the USA. Chris also spent time as part of the video analysis team for Blackburn Rovers. He has good connections and is in the “ear” of those in the footballing fraternity with influence in the game, as well as currently scouting for a two professional clubs, both at youth level for Sheffield United FC and first team level for Halifax Town FC.

Chris has a BA Honours Degree in 'Sports Coaching and Management' from the University of Central Lancashire where he was the youngest captain to take charge of the University football team. He also became the first player to Captain the University's football club for two consecutive years culminating in his team winning the Northern Universities League Cup.

Most recently, Chris managed several of the largest sites operated by the Powerleague Group. Powerleague is the premier provider of commercial small sided football in the UK and a great hub for grassroots football, giving him the opportunity to see and listen to thousands of budding footballers, all looking to break into the professional game.
